The Income Tax (I-T) division will launch a brand new ‘taxpayer pleasant’ revenue tax e-filing portal- www.incometax.gov.in, on June 7, 2021, geared toward offering a simple, hassle-free, and seamless expertise to taxpayers. In a latest assertion, the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT), the apex physique which heads the I-T division stated that the prevailing revenue tax e-filing portal will likely be phased out after a ”blackout interval” of six days starting subsequent month, between June 1 – June 6, 2021.
