New Zealand all-rounder Michael Bracewell will miss the one-day World Cup in India after rupturing his proper Achilles tendon, New Zealand Cricket stated on Wednesday.

Bracewell suffered the injury enjoying for Worcestershire Rapids within the English T20 Blast and can endure surgical procedure in Britain on Thursday.

The 32-year-old spin-bowling all-rounder is predicted to want six to eight months to get better.
