The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) will host a nationwide conference on child sexual abuse material on March 2 and three, with Union Law Minister Kiren Rijiju slated to be the chief visitor on the occasion, officers mentioned on February 28.

“The Commission also issued two ‘Human Rights Advisory for the Protection of the Rights of Children in the context of COVID-19’ dated September 29, 2020 and June 2, 2021, respectively, wherein it made recommendations to the concerned authorities regarding cybercrime and online safety of children,” the assertion mentioned.
