After a tragic finish to their marketing campaign within the preliminary stage of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022, Nicholas Pooran is assured that West Indies can “redeem” themselves by going all the best way and successful the trophy this time at house.
Pooran was the captain of the Windies within the earlier version had to flip in his resignation after the fiasco. However, the southpaw believes that the West Indies gamers who’re part of the World Cup squad have moved on from the debacle.
“We all have grown as players, as team-mates as well,” Pooran advised ESPNcricinfo. “When we performed in Australia the place we did not qualify, everybody was damage. I resigned (from) captaincy after that as properly. Everyone was damage. But we’re now not that group of men.
