New Delhi: After banning micro-blogging web site Twitter indefinitely, the Nigerian authorities has officially joined the Indian social media app Koo, the co-founder of Koo stated on Thursday.
“The official handle of the government of Nigeria is now on Koo!” Aprameya Radhakrishna, Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Koo, wrote on its platform whereas saying the Nigerian authorities`s entry on the platform.
“A very warm welcome to the official handle of the Government of Nigeria on @kooindia! Spreading wings beyond India now,” Radhakrishna wrote.
On Wednesday, the Nigerian authorities stated that Twitter is in search of dialogue in a bid to resolve the problems resulting in the suspension of its actions within the West African nation.
Information and Culture Minister Lai Mohammed advised reporters that he has acquired a message from the micro-blogging platform earlier within the day, in search of a dialogue with the Nigerian authorities.

Aside from suspending Twitter`s actions, Nigeria`s broadcast regulator, the National Broadcasting Commission, has ordered all native retailers to droop their use of the social media platform.
The Nigerian authorities on June 4 stated it was indefinitely suspending Twitter`s operations within the nation.
