Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Wednesday embarked on a go to to Bengaluru to attend the primary assembly of the G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors below the G20 India Presidency.
The two-day assembly starting February 24 will focus on priorities below world financial system, worldwide taxation, monetary sector, worldwide monetary structure, sustainable finance, infrastructure, well being and monetary inclusion, the Finance Ministry tweeted.
On the sidelines of the assembly, Sitharaman will maintain bilateral discussions with greater than 10 nations, together with Italy, the US, Spain, Indonesia, and the UK; apart from participating discussions with representatives of worldwide organisations.
Around 500 overseas delegates have gathered in Bengaluru for the primary G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors (FMCBG) assembly. The assembly will see participation of Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors of G20 and invitee nations, and Heads of assorted worldwide organisations.

The FMCGB assembly is preceded by the G20 Finance and Central Bank Deputies assembly on February 22-23, 2023.
