No jeans, T-shirts, only formals: CBI’s new rules for officers

New Delhi: The new Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) Director Subodh Kumar Jaiswal directed officers to decorate in formals warning them that informal dressing is not going to be allowed.

In an order issued by the Deputy Director Administration for officers on on obligation, it has been made clear that whereas all male employees ought to be wearing trousers, collared shirts and formal sneakers with correct shaving, feminine staffers will put on fits, sarees, formal shirts and trousers, PTI reported.

“No jeans, T-shirts, sports shoes, chappals and casual attire is allowed in the office,” the order acknowledged. The directive was issued after it was observed that some employees members weren’t “attired properly” in workplace.

Further, it directed heads of branches of the CBI throughout the nation to make sure these tips are strictly adopted.

Jaiswal was appointed the new chief of CBI, company’s thirty third director, for two years final week. The CBI had an performing Director Praveen Sinha after the time period of RK Shukla ended on February 3 this 12 months.
