Noida, Mar 10 (PTI) Noida Authority on Friday inaugurated town’s first two canine shelters that may home aggressive, sick and wounded stray canine with amenities for correct feeding and care of the canines, officers stated.
Noida Authority CEO Ritu Maheshwari inaugurated the amenities which can be situated in Sector 50 and 135 and whose operational price could be borne by the native residents’ welfare associations, they stated.
A complete of 4 canine shelters are to be constructed by the Noida Authority in sectors 34, 50, 93B and 135. At current, the development of canine shelter of Sector 50 and 135 has been accomplished and so they have been inaugurated. The development of the remaining shelters is scheduled to be accomplished by March 31,? the Noida Authority stated in an announcement.
The shelters have platforms for feeding canine, sheds for cover from rain and solar, and water tubs wherein clear water will probably be stored, the assertion learn.

Each shelter can accommodate 15 canine and could have a caretaker and a para-veterinarian to take care of the animals, it said.
