Noida’s Child PGI gears up for third COVID wave, beds, oxygen arranged

Noida: The Super Specialty Paediatric Hospital & Post Graduate Teaching Institute (SSPHPGTI) or Child PGI in Noida has began preparations to cope with the potential third wave of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The hospital has arranged 50 beds for the therapy of kids, whereas 50 extra beds can be arranged within the close to future.

The beds have been geared up with oxygen provide, ventilators and infusion pumps. Oxygen can be delivered to all beds via the Central Oxygen System.

The group stated there isn’t a scarcity of oxygen as they’ve a four-layer oxygen system in place.

Moreover, an oxygen technology plant can be commissioned via CSR in a single week. The hospital stated that each one oxygen concentrators have been funded via donations.

At current, no little one affected by COVID-19 is admitted within the hospital. 46 youngsters that had been contaminated have made full restoration and have been despatched to their properties.
