Indian Super League (ISL) outfit NorthEast United FC have solidified their backline with the signing of Tajikistan defender Alisher Kholmurodov, the membership introduced the signing by their social media handles, on Friday.
The defender, who has appeared for 4 completely different golf equipment within the Vysshaya Liga – the top-flight league of Tajikistan – will embark on his first stint outdoors his house nation. Kholmurodov started his skilled profession at Regar-Tadaz Tursunzoda after which signed for Kuktosh FC, FC Dushanbe, and Faykand Vose in a span of two seasons.
The 26-year-old, who performs as a centre-back, is understood for his versatility throughout the backline and may also play as a full-back and a central defensive midfielder. Having made 39 appearances throughout two seasons within the Vysshaya Liga, the defender will be a part of the likes of Aaron Evans, Romain Philippoteaux, Kule Mbombo, Wilmar Gil, and Joseba Beitia within the international contingent at NorthEast United FC.
Kholmurodov will look to hit the bottom operating along with his new crew of their Super Cup marketing campaign that’s scheduled to happen in Kerala on 4th April.
