The National Stock Exchange (NSE) will reduce the transaction fees on trades in each money and derivatives segments by 1 per cent.
Transaction cost within the fairness supply or money section is 0.00325 per cent and in derivatives, it’s 0.0019 per cent. This transfer is seen impacting firm’s annual income from transaction fees by practically Rs 130 crore. NSE has additionally determined to exit non-core companies, together with expertise and training.
The discount in fees might be efficient from April 1, 2024, it stated.
“The said reduction is estimated to have an overall impact of Rs 130 crore per annum on revenue from transaction charges of the company,” NSE stated.
NSE’s transfer to scale back transaction fees weighed on BSE’s inventory, which plunged greater than 4 per cent to Rs 2,106.65 in commerce at present.
The NSE had in March 2023 rolled again 6 per cent hike in transaction fees on fairness money and derivatives section.
