NSIL signs MoU with French company for long-term partnership to support satellite launch missions

NewSpace India Limited (NSIL), the industrial arm of ISRO, and French satellite launch company Arianespace have signed an Memorandum of Understanding for a long-term partnership to support satellite launch missions.

NSIL is a Government of India company underneath the Department of Space (DoS).

The MoU goals at establishing a long-term partnership between the 2 corporations to meet the worldwide industrial satellite launch service market wants, NSIL mentioned.

It mentioned as a part of MoU, the heavy carry launch car LVM-3 of NSIL/ ISRO and Ariane-6 of Arianespace would handle international launch service market wants, assembly the demand for launching heavier communication or earth remark satellites in addition to satellites for mega constellations.

Global launch service market evaluation for the last decade signifies enormous demand for launching satellites in GTO (Geosynchronous Transfer Orbit) and in LEO (Low Earth Orbit).
