Odisha Cabinet reshuffle: Bikram Keshari Arukha, Sudam Marndi, Sarada Prashad Nayak took oath as ministers within the state cupboard. Governor Ganeshi Lal scheduled administered the oath to the brand new ministers on the Convention Centre of Lok Seva Bhavan in Bhubaneswar. This can be Patnaik’s second Cabinet reshuffle in his fifth time period as the chief minister of the state.
The Cabinet reshuffle has been necessitated following the resignation of the 2 ministers. Apart from that another place was laying vacant after the assassination of Health and Family Welfare Minister Naba Kishore Das in January. Odisha Assembly Speaker Bikram Keshari Arukha and two cupboard ministers had resigned from their respective posts citing private causes this week.
Odisha’s cupboard can have 22 ministers, together with the CM.
