The Election Commission of India at present introduced ballot dates for meeting elections to 4 states – Arunachal Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Sikkim and Odisha. While the voting will happen in April and May, the counting of votes will happen together with the Lok Sabha election outcomes. The time period of the 175-member Andhra Pradesh meeting ends on June 11, that of the 60-member Arunachal meeting on June 2, of 147-member Odisha meeting on June 24 and the 32-member Sikkim meeting on June 2. While Andhra Pradesh, Sikkim and Arunachal vote in a single part, Odisha will go to the polls in 4 phases.
