OMG! Massive data leak in Domino’s, credit card details of 10 lakh users on sale for Rs 4 crore

New Delhi: In what might be termed as one of the most important data leak case pertaining to pizza chain franchise Domino’s, a cyber-security researcher has claimed that credit card details of practically 10 lakh individuals have been leaked.

People who used Domino`s Pizza India’s on-line facility to order have been uncovered to this data leak whereas their credit card details are being bought for over Rs 4 crore on the Dark Web.

According to Alon Gal, CTO of safety agency Hudson Rock, a risk actor has claimed to have hacked Domino`s India database price 13TB.

The risk actor is trying for round $550,000 (roughly Rs 4 crore) for the database and saying they’ve plans to construct a search portal to allow querying the data, Gal claimed.

Domino`s India has not reacted to Gal`s tweet as but.

Meanwhile, Independent cyber safety researcher Rajshekhar Rajaharia informed information company IANS that he had alerted about this potential hack to the India`s nationwide cyber defence company CERT-in on March 5.
