Electric vehicles information: Electric vehicles (EVs) represent a miniscule 0.8 per cent of the entire quantity of vehicles registered in the nation, regardless of the federal government pushing for greener vehicles since 2015. For an over 27 lakh electric vehicles registered in the nation (as on July 14, 2023), there are solely 8,738 public charging stations, that are operational as on June 30, 2023.
