Opposition MPs take out ‘Tiranga March’ from Parliament as Budget Session draws to an end

MPs of a number of Opposition events took out a ‘Tiranga March’ from parliament to Vijay Chowk after the final day of the Budget Session of the Parliament drew to an end on Thursday. Congress chief KC Venugopal who participated within the march mentioned, “The government itself is not letting the Parliament run. Why do they not want to discuss the Adani scam?”

The march started after Lok Sabha was adjourned following a protest by Opposition events, who’ve been demanding a Joint Parliamentary Probe into the Adani shares amongst different points. The BJP has been demanding an apology from Rahul Gandhi for his remarks in London.The Tiranga March started on the Parliament and can end at Vijay Chowk.

The events may even maintain a press convention within the Constitution Club after the march, they mentioned. Meanwhile, in accordance to sources three political events together with the Congress will skip the ‘Evening Tea’ assembly to be hosted by the Lok Sabha Speaker immediately. Rajya Sabha was adjourned until 2 pm on Thursday whereas the Lok Sabha was adjourned sine die on the final day of the Budget Session of the Parliament following a protest by Opposition MPs over varied points. Today is the final day of the Budget Session which has been an absolute washout with the Opposition demanding a Joint Parliamentary Committee on the Hindenburg report on Adani situation and the BJP demanding Congress chief Rahul Gandhi’s apology for his remarks on Savarkar and insulting Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is among the tallest OBC leaders.
