New Delhi: As filmmaker SS Rajamouli’s blockbuster “RRR” gained the Academy Award within the Best Original Song class for “Naatu Naatu”, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday (March 13, 2023) stated that the recognition of the hit quantity is “global”. Calling the Oscar award “exceptional”, Modi stated that “Naatu Naatu” can be a music that can be remembered for years to return.

“RRR” (Rise Roar Revolt) is a pre-independence fictional story and follows two real-life Indian revolutionaries — Alluri Sitarama Raju (Ram Charan) and Komaram Bheem (Jr NTR) — within the Twenties.
‘Jai Ho’ from the 2008 British movie ‘Slumdog Millionaire’, directed by Danny Boyle, was the primary Hindi music to win an Academy Award within the Best Original Score and Original Song classes. It was composed by AR Rahman and penned by Gulzar.
