Over 26 lakh students get respite as UP government cancels Class 12 board exams

New Delhi: The announcement by Uttar Pradesh Deputy CM Dinesh Sharma on Thursday (June 3, 2021) introduced respite to over 26 lakh students who had been registered to seem in UP Class twelfth Board Exams 2021.

The UP government introduced that the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has cancelled the category 12 board exams 2021 because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Over 26 lakh (26,09,501) students had been registered to seem in UP Class twelfth Board examinations this 12 months. This determination, which was taken after a gathering chaired by UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, introduced a sigh of aid to lakhs to students, mother and father and lecturers throughout the state. 

In the assembly, the Board of Education committee had introduced a report back to CM Yogi Adityanath during which they listed out different choices for the candidates. 

Earlier final month, the state had cancelled UP Class 10 Board examination 2021, for which over 30 lakh candidates had been registered, within the view of COVID-19 pandemic. 

On the opposite hand, a number of states together with Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat have cancelled Class 12 board exams, whereas others like West Bengal, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Odisha, Himachal Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh are more likely to take a call on the matter quickly.
