Uttar Pradesh madrasas survey:Â Over 7,000 unrecognised madrasas have been recognized in Uttar Pradesh in a current survey whcih was carried out by the state authorities. The survey is being performed to offer recognition to unrecognised madrasas as soon as they meet the federal government mandated necessities.
The closing listing of unrecognised madrasas can be launched solely after the district magistrates submit their reviews by November 15 (Tuesday).

There are 350 madrassas with less than 15 students. The teaching staff of 560 madrassas have pay scales similar to those in central government-run secondary schools…,” he mentioned.
Under the madrasa modernisation scheme, 744 madrassas are given grants for shiksha mitra, and a scholarship is given to meritorious college students of all registered madrasas.
The unrecognised madrasas will now be recognised by the Board of Madrasa Education as soon as they meet authorities mandated necessities comparable to offering fundamental amenities for working madrasas, comparable to a classroom, desk, bench, chairs for college students, correct lights followers, bogs, and others.
Further, they will additionally apply for wages for educating and non-teaching staff.
According to a authorities spokesman, there are 150 unofficial madrasas in Gorakhpur, 100 in Lucknow, Azamgarh, Varanasi, and Mau, whereas Aligarh has 90, Kanpur (85), Prayagraj (70), and Agra (35).
