Oxygen Express train to reach Delhi tonight from Raigarh, to boost supply

Union Railway Minister Piyush Goyal on Monday mentioned so as to increase oxygen availability in Delhi, an ‘Oxygen Express’ train from Chhattisgarh’s Raigarh is on method to Delhi and reach nationwide capital tonight (Monday).

“Indian Railways is continuously working to ensure oxygen supply in various states,” the Union Minister added.

Since the primary train of empty tankers left for Vizag from Mumbai Region only a few days again, Indian Railways has transported greater than 302 MT of Oxygen safely and securely to numerous states throughout India. Another 154 MT liquid medical oxygen is on its method. Railways has picked up the problem of motion of the life-saving Oxygen to the states wanting oxygen.

For the residents of Maharashtra, a train carrying 44 MT (in 3 tankers) has reached Kalamboli (close to Mumbai) from Hapa (Rajkot, Gujarat) yesterday.

Railways is responding to all requests obtained from state governments and is in fixed contact with the respective authorities for added Oxygen train necessities.
