New Delhi: Amid ruckus over Opposition demand for Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) probe within the Adani situation, the Lok Sabha on Tuesday handed a Rs 1.118 lakh crore budget for the monetary yr 2023-24 for the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. After the House met once more at 2 pm after the primary adjournment, Rajindra Agrawal, who was chairing the proceedings, requested BJP MP Jugal Kishore Sharma to provoke the dialogue on the budget for the Union Territory, which is underneath central rule at current.
Sharma spoke for a minute after which the method to cross the budget was initiated. The budget for Jammu and Kashmir was handed by a voice vote amid the din.
