New Delhi: After big ruckus within the Parliament by the opposition events, as soon as once more each the homes – Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha have been adjourned. Both the homes confronted repeated suspension with Lok Sabha now adjourned until 3.30 pm and Rajya Sabha until 3 pm.

The Rajya Sabha was earlier adjourned for one hour until 12.25 pm to mark the deaths of two sitting MPs – Dr Raghunath Mohapatra and Rajeev Satav, who died of coronavirus-related problems.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi tried to introduce the brand new ministers in Rajya Sabha whereas the opposition created an uproar. “I thought that there would be enthusiasm in the Parliament as so many women, Dalits, tribals have become ministers,” he says. “This time our colleagues from agricultural and rural background, OBC community, have been given berth in Council of Ministers.”

PM stated that some ministers aren’t in favour of getting a lady or a Dalit minister so they don’t seem to be letting the PM to introduce his ministers to the home.

Leader of the House in Rajya Sabha Piyush Goyal condemned opposition for chaos.

“It’s unfortunate that introduction of OBCs, Dalits, SCs and STs, representatives of northeastern states, and women as Ministers was interrrupted. A democratic process was halted by Opposition MPs. It’s an insult to democracy and the people of India. We condemn this,” stated Piyush Goyal.
