Participation of Judokas Himanshi Tokas, Shraddha Chopade, Asmita Dey in Multiple Events Approved by Sports Ministry – News18

The Sports Ministry on Friday authorized judokas Himanshi Tokas, Shraddha Chopade and Asmita Dey’s proposals to take part in a number of competitions.

Junior Asian Championship gold medallist Himanshi and Junior Oceania Championship gold medallist Shraddha will likely be heading to Paris for France Grand Slam, Baku for the Azerbaijan Grand Slam, Tashkent for the Uzbekistan Grand Slam and Linz for the Austria Grand Prix.

Junior Asian Cup champion Asmita Dey will be part of them in Paris for the France Grand Slam.

The ministry, below its Target Olympic Podium Scheme (TOPS) will cowl their airfare, boarding/lodging, insurance coverage and native transportation prices for all these competitions and coaching intervals.

The Mission Olympic Cell additionally authorized shooter Elavenil Valarivan’s request to take part in the upcoming ISSF World Cup in Spain below Ranking Point Only (RPO) class.
