A passenger of New Delhi-bound North East Express was killed when he allegedly shot himself close to New Jalpaiguri Station in West Bengal on Monday night, a Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) spokesperson stated.

NFR spokesperson Sabyasachi Dey informed PTI that the particular person shot himself in a normal compartment of the practice round 8 pm.
“He didn’t have a ticket or any other document about himself. We are trying to confirm his identity,” he stated.
The coach was indifferent from the practice at New Jalpaiguri Station.
A forensic investigation has been initiated, the spokesperson stated including that it isn’t clear from the place the particular person obtained into the practice carrying a firearm.
North East Express runs between Kamakhya in Guwahati and Anand Vihar Terminal in New Delhi.
