New Delhi: Congress chief Pawan Khera who was arrested by Assam police over remarks in opposition to Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been granted an extension of his interim bail until March 17 by the Supreme Court. Earlier, the apex courtroom had prolonged safety to Khera in opposition to any coercive motion until March 3. There are a number of instances filed in opposition to him for allegedly insulting PM Modi’s father. Congress chief Pawan Khera was arrested on the Delhi Airport on February 23Â over his alleged remarks in opposition to the prime minister. Khera was on the airport and was about to fly to Raipur to attend Congress’ eighty fifth plenary assembly.

At a presser through the Congress assembly, Khera bashed the BJP and accused them of ‘undemocratically’ choosing a celebration chief and however, praised his personal social gathering for holding a vote to elect its chief.Â
