The Congress on Monday questioned the Narendra Modi authorities’s determination to buy Russian crude oil, utilizing the Chinese foreign money Yuan.

Mr. Vallabh claimed that The Global Times, the official newspaper of the Chinese authorities had praised the federal government of India for “accelerating de-dollarisation” by paying Russia in Yuan for the oil India imports from that nation.
He mentioned that India is presently importing crude to the tune of ₹89,000 crore from Russia in opposition to ₹7,000 crores in 2021.
