Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday addressed a world convention on Disaster Resilient Infrastructure, organised by Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure (CDRI). During his speech, he highlighted pure disasters and the way they are often finest managed.

Talking about the importance of CDRI as a platform for disaster management, PM Modi said, “In just four years, over 40 countries have become a part of CDRI. This conference has become very important as global north and global south, small and large countries are coming together on it.”

“As we focus on infrastructure, some priorities should be remembered. The theme this yr is delivering resilience and inclusive infrastructure. Infrastructure should go away none behind and serve individuals even throughout instances of disaster. Further, a holistic view of infrastructure is required. Social and digital infrastructure as necessary as transport infrastructure,” he mentioned.
