Mumbai: Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal on Saturday stated that the PM Gati Shakti programme has helped the nation to register a year-on-year incremental growth of Rs 2 lakh crore in goods export in the earlier fiscal.

Of the 101 MoPSW Gati Shakti initiatives, 57 are from the key ports, and 44 initiatives are from states, he stated, including these initiatives have supported sooner and extra environment friendly motion of cargo, resulting in an total discount in logistics value.

According to Sonowal, his ministry has additionally recognized 5 high-impact initiatives (HIP), which show the idea and spirit of the Gati Shakti programme.
