PM-KISAN 15th Installment Released: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday, November 15, launched the 14th installment of the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme (PM-KISAN) price Rs 18,000 crore for about 8.5 crore eligible farmers. The announcement was made at an occasion held at Khunti, Jharkhand, on Wednesday.
So far, the federal government has transferred a complete quantity of about Rs 2.68 lakh crore to the beneficiaries underneath the PM-KISAN scheme.
The 14th installment underneath the PM-KISAN was launched in July, 5 months after the thirteenth instalment in February 2023. The twelfth installment was launched in October 2022, whereas the eleventh installment was launched in May 2022.
Under the PM-KISAN scheme, eligible farmers get Rs 2,000 each 4 months, which is Rs 6,000 yearly. The cash is supplied every year in three instalments — April-July, August-November and December-March. The fund is straight transferred to the financial institution accounts of the beneficiaries.
The scheme was launched in February 2019.
