Prime Minister Narendra Modi will take part in a programme marking 20 years of completion of the State-wide Attention on Grievances by Application of Technology (SWAGAT) initiative in Gujarat today (April 27) by way of video-conferencing.
During the occasion, he may even work together with the previous beneficiaries of the scheme. The Gujarat authorities is celebrating SWAGAT Saptah, on profitable completion of 20 years of the initiative.
SWAGAT was began by Modi in April 2003, when he was the chief minister of Gujarat.
The principal objective of this programme was to act as a bridge between the residents and the federal government utilizing know-how by fixing their day-to-day grievances in an environment friendly and time-bound method.
