PM Modi To Attend Display Of Indigenous Defence Prowess in ‘Bharat Shakti’ Exercise | India News


Prime Minister Narendra Modi together with delegates from 40 international locations will witness a Tri-Services Live Fire and Manoeuvre Exercise named ‘Bharat Shakti’ at Pokhran in Rajasthan, on Tuesday. The occasion is organised to show the prowess of the nation’s indigenous defence capabilities throughout land, air, sea, cyber, and area domains. The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) mentioned that the showcase of indigenous weapon techniques and platforms in the ‘Bharat Shakti’ train will show the nation’s power, aligning with the Aatmanirbharata initiative. 

The train will characteristic important tools and weapon techniques equivalent to T-90 (IM) Tanks, Dhanush and Sarang Gun Systems, Akash Weapons Systems, Logistics Drones, Robotic Mules, Advanced Light Helicopter (ALH), and numerous unmanned aerial autos. These parts, introduced by the Indian Army, spotlight superior capabilities in floor warfare and aerial surveillance. 

The Indian Navy will exhibit Naval Anti-Ship Missiles, Autonomous Cargo Carrying Aerial Vehicles, and Expendable Aerial Targets throughout the occasion. Meanwhile the Indian Air Force is ready to show domestically produced plane such because the Light Combat Aircraft Tejas, Light Utility Helicopters, and Advanced Light Helicopters, based on the assertion. 

The army drill will showcase the carpabilities of domestically developed weapons and the operational readiness of the three branches of the defence forces. Following the train, Prime Minister Modi is predicted to have interaction in a dialogue with BJP staff, youth, and ladies from the Pokhran Assembly constituency.
