Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to launch improvement projects worth practically Rs 11,600 crore in Assam on Sunday. The PM on Saturday reached Guwahati on a two-day journey, throughout which he’ll meet the BJP’s state core committee and roll out a number of projects. He landed on the Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport in Guwahati from Odisha round 6.

Major projects to be launched in Assam
- The Kamakhya temple hall (Rs 498 crore)
