New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated DMK president M Okay Stalin on his social gathering’s victory making approach for him to grow to be the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu for the primary time.

PM Modi wrote: “Congratulations to Thiru MK Stalin and DMK party for the victory in the Tamil Nadu assembly elections. We shall work together for enhancing national progress, fulfilling regional aspirations and defeating the COVID-19 pandemic.”

Meanwhile, Stalin expressed his ‘heartfelt thanks’ to all of the individuals of the state for mandating his social gathering to govern Tamil Nadu for the sixth time. The DMK chief thanked the individuals for voting his social gathering into energy and guaranteed them that he would honestly work for them. 

According to the Election Commission information at 6.30 pm, DMK was main in 122 segments of the whole 234 within the state and gained two seats, which is inclusive of its allies who fought on the social gathering’s rising solar image.

The AIADMK was main in 74 and gained two seats.

DMK’s allies Congress was main in 17, the CPI and CPI(M) two every and Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi three.
