Police Personnel & Councillor Killed In Militant Attack In Kashmir’s Sopore Area

At least two folks, together with police personnel, misplaced their lives in a terrorist assault in Jammu and Kashmir’s Sopore on Monday. According to experiences, police personnel recognized as Shafqat Ahmad and a councillor named Riyaz Ahmad misplaced their lives whereas one other councillor named Shams-Ud-din Peer sustained accidents within the assault.

The terrorists opened fireplace when a municipal council assembly being chaired by Block Development Council (BDC) chairman Fareeda Khan, who can be the BJP’s state secretary, was being held on the Dak Bungalow in Sopore.

The injured have been admitted to a close-by hospital for therapy. The space has been cordoned off and efforts are on to nab the perpetrators.No militant outfit has up to now claimed duty for the assault.

The untoward incident takes place only a day after two terrorists had been killed in an encounter with the safety forces in Jammu and Kashmir’s Shopian on Saturday.
