Poonch Terror Attack: AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi Terms Incident ‘Cowardly’ Act | India News


New Delhi: AIMIM chairman Asaduddin Owaisi has condemned the Poonch terror assault, which murdered 5 Army males and critically injured one other, calling it a ‘cowardly’ act.

In a late tweet on Thursday night time, the Hyderabad Lok Sabha member expressed condolences to the households of the fallen servicemen. “My condolences to the families & fellow officers of the five Bravehearts killed in #Jammu terror attack. Hope that the one soldier who was gravely injured recovers fully. This is a cowardly attack and absolutely condemnable,” he tweeted.

Five Army personnel have been killed and one other critically injured on Thursday after their automobile caught hearth following a terrorist assault in Poonch, Jammu, and Kashmir, in line with the Army. According to the Army, the slain troopers have been from a Rashtriya Rifles unit deployed for counter-terrorism operations. It went on to say that the truck wherein the troopers have been going was attacked by unidentified terrorists and caught hearth because of the attainable use of grenades.

Terrorist assault in Poonch

Five Army males have been killed and one other was badly injured on Thursday after their automobile caught hearth following a terrorist assault in Poonch, Jammu & Kashmir. According to a press release, the slain Army personnel have been from a Rashtriya Rifles battalion deployed for counter-terrorism operations. Army Chief of Staff Gen. Manoj Pande briefed Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on the incident.

Protest in Jammu after the assault

Activists from the Vishwa Hindu Parishad and the Bajrang Dal marched in Jammu on Thursday night time, demanding harsh punishment for terrorists engaged within the assault on an Army automobile in Poonch district. According to studies, 5 Army servicemen have been murdered and one other was critically injured on Thursday after their automobile caught hearth following a terror strike.

Ravinder Raina, the Jammu and Kashmir BJP head, condemned the “cowardly attack” by Pakistan-sponsored terrorists and promised that the troops’ deaths shall be avenged.

Hundreds of activists from the VHP and the Bajrang Dal gathered on the metropolis’s Tawi bridge to protest the assault, led by VHP state govt president Rajesh Gupta.
