The on-going issue of the farmers’ protest on the borders of India’s capital, Delhi, has gained International recognition. World famous pop star, Rihanna tweeted in support of the protesting Indian farmers on Tuesday, after which there was a series of Tweets from internationally acclaimed stars like Mia Khalif and also from the niece of US’ Vice President, Kamala Harris. Ex-Indian cricketer, Pragyan Ojha did not receive Rihanna’s tweet in a happy way. He tweeted came out to tweet against the pop star.
He wrote: “My country is proud of our farmers and knows how important they are, I trust it will be addressed soon. We don’t need an outsider poking her nose in our internal matters!” replying to Rihanna’s tweet.

This tweet by Ojha wasn’t received very well by a lot of people who are supposedly the sympathizers of the farmers’ movement. He received a lot of flak from the people on Twitter.
