Priyanka Chopra Headlines Prime Video Event, Teases Documentary On Violence Against Women – WATCH


New Delhi: Priyanka is taking a proactive stance as an activist, providing a glimpse into her documentary addressing violence towards girls. Titled ‘Women of My Billion’ and produced by Priyanka herself, the documentary delves into the struggles, aspirations, rights, and resistance towards varied types of violence that bind girls in India collectively. 

The narrative follows Srishti’s outstanding journey masking 3800 km in 240 days, spanning from Kanyakumari in South India to Kashmir within the North. Presented via the attitude of UN SDG Changemaker Award winner and activist, the movie sheds gentle on a neighborhood deserving respect, empowerment, and safeguarding. A sneak peek of the documentary was showcased on the ‘Prime Video Presents’ occasion on Tuesday, held at a 5-star venue in Mumbai’s Santa Cruz space. The occasion unveiled plans for almost 70 titles.


During discussions with the media, Priyanka emphasised the documentary’s pivotal question on violence towards girls, asserting its world relevance past simply a problem particular to India. The documentary is ready to premiere completely on Prime Video.
