Washington: Iranian-American director-writer Ramin Bahrani, who’s nominated for Best Adapted Screenplay for the Netflix movie ‘The White Tiger’, was subjected to racist remarks from a bystander whereas talking to a gaggle of Academy and BAFTA members.
