The zipper of her dress broke while she was zipping it up minutes before her appearance at the prestigious film festival.
The ‘Bajirao Mastani’ actress, who will soon release her memoir ‘Unfinished’, shared a collage picture of red carpet look and revealed the anecdote. Piggy Chops said that her ‘amazing’ team came to her rescue while she ‘freaked out’.
“I may look chill on the outside here, but little did everyone know I had just been freaking out on the inside. The delicate zipper to this vintage @roberto_cavalli dress broke as they were zipping it up minutes before I had to leave for the red carpet at Cannes last year. The solution? My amazing team had to sew me into the dress on the way in the 5 minute car ride!,” Priyanka wrote on Instagram.
Priyanka informed her fans that they would be able to read more such BTS (behind the scenes) stories like this from Miss World, Met Gala and other events in her autobiography. She donned an embellished gown designed by Robert Cavalli for Cannes 2019. She carried the outfit with ease, proving why she is the queen of red carpet.
On the professional front, Priyanka was recently seen in ‘The White Tiger’. The film co-starring Rajkummar Rao and Adarsh Gourav has received a good response from the audience on Netflix. Fans have lauded the three actors for their performance in the drama. ‘The White Tiger’, which has been directed by Ramin Bahrani, is the adaptation of Aravind Adiga’s novel of the same name. The movie premiered on Netflix on January 22.
