Congress chief Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Sunday took a jibe at Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s guarantee, saying his guarantee is the “guarantee of unemployment”.

She attacked the Centre over vacant authorities posts, alleging that PM Modi didn’t curb unemployment within the nation.

In a publish in Hindi on X, the Congress chief stated that in keeping with statistics, about 30 lakh authorities posts are vacant within the nation.

“Crores of our youth are waiting for jobs, but in the last 10 years, the BJP government has done nothing, except propaganda, to fill up these posts,” she added.

Citing an information submited by the Centre to the Parliament in July 2022, Gandhi stated the federal government had knowledgeable the House that in eight years, 22 crore youth utilized for jobs however solely seven lakh youth acquired the roles.

That means roughly 21.93 crore eligible youth remained unemployed, she added.

The Congress chief had on Friday alleged that there is neither any imaginative and prescient nor any plan to create new jobs within the Centre’s interim Budget, and stated the “biggest misfortune” is that Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman didn’t say a single phrase on unemployment.

She additionally claimed that the BJP-led authorities has didn’t curb inflation and unemployment, and its interim Budget has upset each part of the society.
