Pune Car Crash Case: Teens Father, Grandfather Among Five Charged in Abetment of Suicide Case


The Pune Police have booked the daddy and grandfather of an adolescent concerned in the Pune May 19 automobile accident case, in a separate case of abetment of suicide of an area businessman’s son, officers stated on Friday.

Local Businessman DS Kature had registered a grievance towards the Pune automobile accident accused particular person’s father, grandfather and three others holding them liable for the suicide of his son who died in January this 12 months.

According to a police grievance, DS Kature’s Son Shashikant Katur had dedicated suicide after a relentless harrasment from an accused Vinay Kale from whom Shashikant had taken a mortgage for a building enterprise which he did not repay, later dedicated suicide.

Following the suicide, police had registered a case of abetment towards Vinay Kale underneath IPC sections 306 and 506 on the Chandannagar police station in town.

According to a senior Police official of Pune Police, “During the ongoing car accident investigation, the father of Vinay Kale had approached Police recently where the role of the juvenile’s father grandfather and three others surfaced in the abetment of suicide case. Following this, Pune police included the accused’s father, grandfather, and three others in the abetment of suicide FIR at the Chandannagar Police Station. They also added sections 420 and 34 of the IPC, and further investigation is ongoing.”

The accused’s father is presently in police custody relating to the manipulation of blood samples, whereas the grandfather is in judicial custody following his arrest for allegedly abducting the household driver for forcing him to take duty for the crime as a substitute of his minor grandson.

The Pune automobile accident led to the killing of two folks after the minor ploughed his swanky luxurious automobile into the 2 IT professionals, who have been travelling on a motorcycle, killing them on the spot on the night time of May 19. The accused has been detained at an remark dwelling on the order of the Juvenile Justice Board. He was earlier granted bail in the case however was later despatched to the remark dwelling for 14 days until June 5.
