Legendary screen-writer and movie producer Salim Khan current revealed in an interview that he didn’t like his son Salman Khan‘s latest film Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai. However, he praised Salman’s different movies, together with Dabangg 3 and Bajrangi Bhaijaan.
Talking to Dainik Bhaskar in Hindi, he mentioned, “The movie previous to this Dabangg 3 was totally different. Bajrangi Bhaijaan was good and completely totally different. Radhe is not a nice movie at all, however industrial cinema has a duty that each individual can get cash. From artists to producers, distributors, exhibitors and each stakeholder ought to get the cash. The one who buys the cinema should get the cash. Due to this, the cycle of cinema making and enterprise goes on. On this foundation, Salman has carried out. Stakeholders of this movie are in benefit. Otherwise, Radhe is not that nice a movie.”
He further commented on the writers in Bollywood. He said that a lot of writers are not focused in learning Hindi and Urdu literature, but try to Indianise western projects. He added that Zanjeer was a film that brought Indian cinema back to the right track. “But since then, the industry has not received the replacement of Salim-Javed yet. In such a situation, what can Salman do?” he added.
Salim Khan, together with Jaaved Akhtar, has written the screenplays of round 45 movies. The hottest of those are Sholay, Deewar, Zanjeer, Don, Mr India, amongst others.
On the work entrance, Salman might be subsequent seen in Mahesh Manjrekar’s Antim: The Final Truth. He might be sharing the screen-space with brother-in-law Aayush Sharma.
