Congress chief Rahul Gandhi as soon as once more hit out at the Centre over the Adani situation alleging that the BJP-led authorities is permitting peoples’ retirement financial savings to be invested in firms owned by the Adani group. Rahul Gandhi requested the Prime Minister why he fear so much for an investigation on Adani.

Taking to Twitter, Rahul Gandhi stated, “LIC’s capital, to Adani! SBI’s capital, to Adani! EPFO’s capital too, to Adani! Why is public’s retirement money being invested in Adani’s companies even after ‘Modani’ exposed?”

The Prime Minister isn’t giving solutions and neither calling for any investigation. Why does he fear so much?

A significant political controversy erupted after Adani Group shares took a beating on the bourses after US-based brief vendor Hindenburg Research made a litany of allegations, together with fraudulent transactions and share-price manipulation, final month.

The Gautam Adani-led group has dismissed the fees as lies, saying it complies with all legal guidelines and disclosure necessities. Gandhi has been attacking the prime minister on the Adani situation and has been demanding an investigation into the matter.

He has alleged that his disqualification from the Lok Sabha was on account of him elevating questions on the Adani situation, however asserted that he will proceed to do so even when he is disqualified from Parliament for all times.

The former Congress chief was disqualified from the Lok Sabha on Friday after he was convicted and sentenced to a two-year jail time period in a defamation case by a Surat court docket.
