Rajasthan: A 9-year-old boy, who fell into a borewell in Jaipur’s Bhojpura village on Saturday was rescued after a 7-hour-long operation. 

Personnel of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and Civil Defence efficiently pulled out the child.

The incident occurred in Bhojpura village when Akshit fell into an open borewell whereas enjoying. The boy was trapped at 70 ft deep contained in the borewell.

“The boy was rescued by the efforts of the team. His condition is stable and has been taken to a hospital in Jobner,” SDM Arun Jain stated.

When the phrase unfold, the executive employees reached the spot and began the rescue operation roping in groups from the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), SDRF, and Civil Defence.

After rescue, the boy was taken to a hospital in an ambulance for medical examination.

During the rescue operation, Akshit saved speaking to his rescuers who equipped him with oxygen, water, and biscuits to eat, officers stated.

Earlier, Agriculture Minister Lalchand Kataria additionally reached the spot.
