Just a day after the Centre introduced a hike in Dearness Allowance (DA), the Rajasthan authorities introduced a 4 per cent hike in DA for state authorities workers and pensioners.
The pensioners and state authorities workers will now obtain a 42 per cent dearness allowance (DA) with impact from January 1, 2023.
Earlier, 38 per cent DA was being given to them. The resolution will profit about 8 lakh state workers and 4.40 lakh pensioners, in accordance to an official launch.
Apart from the state workers, this profit will even be payable to the work-charged, Panchayat Samiti and Zila Parishad workers.
The state authorities will bear a monetary burden of about Rs 1,640 crore yearly with this improve.
