Preliminary investigation revealed that the accused Shivlal Meghwal had been dwelling in Pali individually from his household for 12 years
A person allegedly killed his daughter in Rajasthan’s Pali district on Tuesday afternoon by slitting her throat and later setting her on fireplace, police stated. Efforts are underway to nab the absconding accused, they added.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the accused Shivlal Meghwal had been dwelling in Pali individually from his household for 12 years. His spouse and kids resided in Gujarat, the police stated. Meghwal believed his elder daughter Nirma (32), who was married, was the supply of discord within the household, the deceased’s kin informed the police.
Nirma had come to Isali village of Pali on Monday to attend a marriage ceremony when her father met her. He then requested the sufferer and her youthful sister to accompany him to a spot, the criticism stated.
He requested his youthful daughter to attend whereas he went forward with Nirma to a secluded place the place he allegedly slit her throat and set her physique on fireplace after sprinkling petrol, it added. When Meghwal returned and his different daughter noticed blood on his hand, she raised an alarm and known as the villagers who then alerted the police upon discovering Nirma’s half-burnt physique, the police stated.
A case has been registered towards the accused beneath Section 302 (homicide) of the Indian Penal Code and efforts are on to nab him, they added.
