Ranbir Kapoor stated that he thinks a greater love story than Arjun Reddy can’t be made.
Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal has generated fairly a buzz for itself earlier than its launch. The movie marks his second Bollywood directorial enterprise after Shahid Kapoor’s Kabir Singh. The movie is a remake of Sandeep’s Arjun Reddy, that includes Vijay Deverakonda because the lead. At the trailer launch occasion of Animal in Delhi on Thursday, November 23, Ranbir Kapoor revealed that he thought Shahid’s Kabir Singh wouldn’t be successful.
Ranbir stated, “Ab maine Kabir Singh ki announcement se pehle Arjun Reddy dekhi, mujhe laga isse better love story koi ban nahi sakti. Fir Sandeep ne wohi love story Kabir Singh mein banayi, aur maine kaha main challenge deta hu ki yeh hit ho hi nahi sakti kyuki Arjun Reddy ne jo kamal kia tha, jo performances the, jo music tha, wo recreate ho nhi payega. But he did it again.”
Ranbir spoke about working with Sandeep and stated, “I think, bohot hi adbhud experience raha hai kyunki ye, mere hisaab se, itne original writer and director hai, inka koi bhi moment, koi bhi scene life me kabhi dekha nahi hai, kabhi mehsoos nhi kiya hai. (I think it has been a marvellous experience because he is such and original writer and director that no one has ever felt or seen his moments).”
He added, “Hum kitna baat karte the set pe ke yeh sab Sandeep ki personal life main hi hua hoga because kahan se aate hai yeh sab ideas (We used to talks so such that all this must have happened in Sandeep’s life otherwise from where is he getting these ideas).”
Ranbir continued, “But, it’s been too inspiring. For artists like us to get a filmmaker like him. Inki jo awaaz hai, inki jo soch hai vo itni original hai k actors, hum marte hai k aese film pe kaam kare, aese director k saath kaam kare. So, both he adbhud experience raha hai mera. (His voice, his thoughts are so original that we actors are dying to work on such films and directors like him. So, it has been a wonderful experience).”
Animal will launch on December 1.
