Bike-taxi and auto-aggregator firm Rapido introduced its foray into the cab services segment. With the announcement of getting into into cab services, Rapido grew to become the third largest participant in the ride-providing sector. Rapido Co-founder Pavan Guntupalli mentioned the corporate has began the service in Delhi-NCR, Hyderabad and Bengaluru with round 1.2 lakh cabs.

“We plans to scale it to around 35 cities by September 2024. Over the course of 10 years not more than 25 per cent are participating in app based services.
