Former Pakistan captain Rashid Latif has known as for a rethink of the free-hit provided to a batting group in case of a no-ball of any type. Latif feels that the rule, launched in 2007, opens a window for corruption in cricket.
Latif shared his observations by way of Twitter posting, “Free hit on No ball , worst ever rule/ Law in cricket. huge window for individual ( corruption) act, but effect all team.” He tagged the official twitter handles of ICC, IPL, PSL, ICC Anti-Corruption official Steve Richardson, BBL and even talked about BCCI.
